One of the things that humans crave is acceptance by others. People in a group will participate in actions they would never do without encouragement from peers. Both genders will adorn themselves seeking the approval of others. Physical attraction must be considered as second to spiritual foundation. Christians have been accepted by God and need to attempt to honor Him with their actions. "And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee." - 2 Cor. 1:21-22 (ASV).
