Elevated

When you became as follower of Jesus, your station in spiritual life changed dramatically. While God has always known your name and every hair on your head, you now have a special place in His Kingdom. You are now so close, you are an heir in this kingdom. He remembers you and knows your name; you are even friends with His son Jesus. More than this, since you are sinless, He resides in you as the Holy Spirit. "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you." - Jn. 16:13-14 (ESV). This means He knows your desires, your abilities, your successes and failures. He knows your feelings, your hurts, and your fears. There was once a song with a lyric, “I will be there when you call . . .” He is always with you wherever you are and whenever you call to Him. He is united with you and will respond. He doesn’t prevent you from making poor or dangerous decisions, but He will help you overcome the results when you ask. His love provides a level of acceptance of the total you. If you desire, fear, anxiety, irritation and panic can be replaced with calm, level and collected thoughts.
